I sit here and wonder ..wonder how am going to make it to the end!
Filled with so much enthusiasm ,it`s surprising a little bit of fear lies in between
So i see myself counting down ....counting down to that very day where i would find myself in front of that exam paper(in between i love to study but hate exams)
My new town aint what we call fun!
Very serene and perhaps the right place to start this new journey ........
Around me are fellow country men and women.....

Am so New to this
Ok so one time i think all is set to start that dreadful journey ...
And then i realize how it is a road of no return .....
So i think and think and think ....and could only take solace in the words of ...Mr.Nobody
`A blow that is inevitably yours ............`
hmmm such is life .But when would i ever feel it,s time ....oh no i didn`t mean it that way ....rewind ..i meant when would i be really ready to start this journey cos as for feeling it...... i sure do now........Ready???????????????
So yesterday was all good and rosy then today all seem so sour .....
But they say so is the journey ......
I aint complaining cos i take solace in the rosy days..but then again i wish it could always be this rosy .....
In fact this journey looks tough but then again ....it is a journey i can`t get raid of ....
God guide me every path and lead me through this journey !cos the soul is willing but the body is weak!
And then i realize how it is a road of no return .....

The News
My name is Edinam ...it`s Ewe and it means God has favored me .......
well yeah he has and in so many ways........
trust names surly have an implication in a child`s life and so be careful what and after who you name your children
I couldn't have asked for any other name .......
God has been so good to me
it`s even hard to start to count the blessings..and worse is i just don`t deserve it
So i have concluded ...God loves me and His plans for me are just to prosper me .....
I could only give him thanks.......

1. I love my surname. It has a z ,an s, and two ii’s
2. I speak Portuguese fluently,read and understand spanish.....but just can,t remember what happened to all the french ....AL here i come
3. I scare myself sometimes with my own confidence
4. I love God and love being in His presence.
5. I am a talkative,love to talk about everything and nothing !
6. I love my family and my friends and always wanna say in touch with them
7. I love life and always want to live each day to the fullest
8. I learnt to forgive yeah and it,s a great feeling
9. Somehow ,I never learnt how to swim …yeah I still wear the bikini and just play around the pool
10. Never finished my driving lessons…ooops I still can’t drive but pls don,t hesitate to give me a car as a gift ....
11. I’m more active at night than during the day
12. I love to travel and wish I could be everywhere at the same time
13. You name it whatever you like ….but I really love myself!
14. I stayed years without my favorite dish …Kenkey with hot pepper and fish
15. I love Yakisoba
16. I love to smile always and hate to be seen crying
17. I’m a very determined person ,got dreams and run really fast after them
18. In two years time .i want to be in the world bank!
19. I love shoes and still dream of having more than a 200 of them before I hit 26 (aint telling my age)
20. I love shopping !who doesn,t especially if that means coming home with beautiful new high heels
21. I want to look good all the time .
22. I feel sexiest when I wake up in the morning !lol yeah I like what I see in the mirror …….lol
23. I love Rio de Janeiro and all my new friends there
24. I just can’t smile at failure, I give it a frown and cast it out
25. I Prefer sleeping to eating
26. I always leave some food in my plate (well kenkey is out of this though)
27. I can dance Zouk, Salsa and I do some samba too. Those are just damn too sensual!
28. When I’m sad or hurt I listen to some soul music …it works just fine for me
29. Just like the dog when I love once, I love forever……
30. Drink deep or not …..I’d rather not start than to go halfway
31. Most people love me or hate me ……there just isn,t a middle way
32. I’m getting addicted to facebook and this aint good at all
33. I understand a lot about football…hope you know why ..when u’re in rome you def have to do as the Romans do !lolKLong live Man U

The wind by that sea brought me hope today
A Hope of love and joy
A hope of brighter days to come

Just Wondering
It beats my mind sometimes when people act as though they just landed on the planet earth!
Come on why did my friends ever have to ask me where Ghana was located on the world map?
why didn't they refer to me as a Ghanaian instead of saying that African (in between am proudly African but come on i have a country .....)
why did i ever try to explain to them that Angola was just one of the African countries and not the capital of Africa?why did they ever have to look at me with some kind of pity anytime Africa was mentioned?
why couldn't i just pass by and not cause a stare cos i looked different from them?
Why do i seem to know all about them and they nothing about me?
Why did i ever smile on the first day the Prof started the History of the slave trade?
Why did they ever ask me if Ghanaians speak Portuguese when i could barely speak anything in that language and was yet to learn it ?
Why did that lady on the bus have to scream just because i said i couldn't understand her language ?damn i never said i was deaf!
why did they have to think there is a common african dialect and we all spoke and understood it?
Why do you wish i was there watching TV with you when you heard that African word ..so i could translate it for you?helloooooooooo i speak twi,ewe and not Africana
why did they have to call me and say they saw my country on TV just because there was a documentory on Kenya ,Zambia,Liberia.etc.....I said I am fron Ghana ...helloooooooo
Africans wear Jeans ,we live in houses, we have streets (although the aint the best),we watch TV,we have radios ,we access the internet(Infact for this very reason i am blogging )lol,we have a president (google to find out),we have a beautiful culture ......
Africa goes beyond poverty ,we go beyond wars and tears and hunger .........
we sing !we dance !we laugh !we tell stories !we`re beautiful people with loving hearts......
